Sophie is a very talented actress and was a joy to work with. She had to play a very complex character and did so with confidence and managed to impress everyone. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her for any roles and wish her well.

Alex Strachan

Director, Radio Drama 'I'm Listening'

This is the second time working with Sophie, and the first time I’ve cast her in the leading role. Sophie is an absolute pleasure to work with, very professional and a great addition to our team. Takes direction really well when required and also getting into her role to a point that makes my job as a director really easy, knowing I can leave her to it with great results. Arriving on time, ready to shoot and staying till we make sure the last shot is done, professional through and through. I could go and on. Looking forward to working with Sophie again. I would recommend her to anyone casting for their next production.

Gavin Randall

Director, Melting Point Media

I cast Sophie as the lead role for an art film, which required complex shifts in character and had a very tight filming schedule and found her fantastic to work with. She arrived early and brought several varieties of the costume I asked her to wear to choose from and was very flexible with her working hours. She was well prepared for her audition, asked lots of good, relevant questions about her character before the day of the shoot and had rehearsed thoroughly, while also responding very well to direction and improvised scenes on the day. Sophie is very friendly, enthusiastic and a delight to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again in the future.

Matthew Pickering

Director, Short Fine Art Film 'AM II'

I know it may sound cliched but from being a young girl I have always wanted to be an Actor. I trained at Stagecoach Theatre Arts and at university I read Theology & Religion as I have always been fascinated by religion and its history. However, I was heavily involved in Newcastle University’s Theatre Society and took part in several productions including performing at the Edinburgh Fringe.

After graduating I hoped to go on and pursue my career, however my Mum was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and I decided to stay at home till she recovered, my Mum is now well!

I have a varied repertoire of work in Film, TV, Voice Over and Theatre. I am an extremely hard working, dedicated and committed person. I am used to working extraordinarily long, unsocial hours and I know I could bring the same level of commitment to any work I may be offered. I don’t just want to act, I need to act!
